Exploring Inner Landscapes – A Personal Journey at the Iconic Carnegie Hall

On May 13, 2025, I will present Exploring Inner Landscapes, a solo piano recital at Weill Recital Hall, located within the legendary Carnegie Hall. Performing at this historic and world-renowned venue is an immense honor, as it has hosted some of the greatest musicians in history. This program is a deeply personal exploration of introspection and self-discovery, guided by the music of five extraordinary composers: Kodály, Mozart, Chopin, Noah Max, and Schubert.

Program

  • KODÁLY – Selections from Seven Pieces, Op. 11

  • MOZARTFantasia in C Minor, K. 475

  • CHOPINNocturne in C Minor, Op. 48, No. 1

  • NOAH MAXPiano Sonata, Op. 54, No. 2, “The Curve” (World Premiere)

  • SCHUBERTPiano Sonata in B-flat Major, D. 960

A Musical Journey Through Inner and Outer Worlds

For me, this recital is more than just a concert—it is an opportunity to explore the profound emotional landscapes found within music. From the evocative Hungarian folk influences of Kodály to the stormy depths of Mozart’s Fantasia, the lyrical beauty of Chopin, and the grandeur of Schubert’s final sonata, each piece is a reflection of the unique soul of its composer. I am especially honored to present the world premiere of The Curve, a new piano sonata by British composer Noah Max, adding a contemporary voice to this evening of reflection and expression.

Performing at Carnegie Hall is a dream for any musician. Its unparalleled acoustics and rich legacy make it a place where music truly comes to life. To share this journey in such a historically significant venue is an incredible privilege.

Music has always been my way of traveling—both through time and within myself. It offers a deeper understanding of different eras, people, and cultures, and ultimately, a greater understanding of myself. Through music, I have had the chance to explore the past through the voices of the present. Every concert is a shared journey with those who listen. Each of us follows our own path, yet in those moments, we are together. What drives me is the desire to discover—to get closer to myself each day and, through that, to the world.

A Transformative Experience for the Audience

This concert is more than a performance—it is an invitation to embark on a journey of transformation. As the music unfolds, I hope to guide the audience through moments of deep reflection, emotional discovery, and a renewed sense of connection to themselves and the world around them. Each piece has the power to stir something within, to awaken memories, emotions, and new perspectives. By the end of the evening, I want each listener to leave feeling enriched, moved, and inspired in a way that only live music can achieve.
